CBS, NBC, and MSNBC have all thus far refused to air stories about the growing ACORN scandal.
In case you have been living in a cave or getting your news from the mainstream media, the highlights of the scandal are this: ACORN staff members from at least four ACORN offices have been videotaped advising a man and a woman on how to violate both moral and federal law. ACORN has been caught teaching these men and women how to operate a brother using thirteen year old prostitutes from El Salvador, how to claim the child prostitutes as dependents on their income taxes, and how to under-report income in order to qualify to Section 8 housing.
These stories are on top of numerous past revelations of voter fraud perpetrated by the group, many of which occurred in their drive to get Barack Obama elected.
As ACORN receives a huge amount of taxpayer dollars, this is a story of national importance.
Last week, the U.S. Census Bureau cut ties with the left-wing group. Monday, the Senate voted to block future funding to the group from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). ACORN still profits from lucrative contracts with other government agencies.
Ask yourself this: How can an organization so obviously dishonest and incompetent continue to receive so many taxpayer dollars? The answers are depressingly simple: ACORN funds and supports Democratic political campaigns.
For example, Barack Obama was paid to represent ACORN in 1995 and he in turn paid the group $ 832,000 during his presidential campaign. Now that Obama has been elected, we will see if he throws ACORN under the bus as he has so many of his other “inconvenient” friends.
So why is there no news coverage of these important and scandalous crimes? Unfortunately, the leftists who dominate the mass media feel that allegiance to Barack Obama is more important than upholding the principles of journalistic integrity.
To fix these problems, these major news organizations must be forced mend the errors of their ways. We have two useful and morally correct tools to do this.
The first is to contact the news organizations in question and let them know that we are aware of their dishonesty:
