Get Pickled x NYD with Bruno Schmidt, Pascal, Spaced & Dog Eat Dog
Every good party deserves great resident DJs – it?s why we enlisted Jane Fitz and Evan Baggs as our residents at The Pickle Factory next year. Get Pickled is a new low key, high end party that?s the antithesis to the samey, soulless lineups that dominate London?s clubbing landscape, instead inviting our favourite local parties and their uber talented residents to play extended b2b sets.

On New Year?s Day, we join with London?s Spaced, and Manchester?s Dog Eat Dog. To those that know, Spaced is one of London?s best underground parties. The music policy, provided by an expert cast of residents, is deep, breaky, wibbly-wobbly house and techno; while a focus on unusual venues – various warehouses, occasionally a boat down the Thames – and a fancy dress theme keeps the atmosphere loose, fun and friendly. At the other end of the M6, Dog Eat Dog is one of Manchester?s finest, inviting Pickle favourites Nicolas Lutz, Binh and DJ Sotofett to play marathon sets at semi-legal warehouses, West Indian restaurants and Thai gay sex clubs since its inception a few years ago. DED?s residents, a crack team of music-obsessed Northerners with close ties to Leeds? Butter Side Up, always bring a raucous atmosphere, and record bags full of beautiful 4/4 music old and new.

Getting Pickled on New Year?s Day are headliners Bruno Schmidt and Pascal. Perennial Pickle favourite Bruno Schmidt last joined us back in August, when he tore our wooden-beamed roof off closing for Daniel Bell. Founder of Hi-fi with Andrew James Gustav and Gwenan, and a regular at tasteful parties across Europe, he?s also the programmer of Bulgaria?s Meadows In The Mountains festival. He?s joined by superb Berlin-based DJ Pascal, a former guest at Spaced, as well as our good friends Cartulis Day, and a deeper-than-deep digger of music in all styles, rhythms and textures.
